Type of data we use
Our first priority is to make sure that we are fully compliant with data protection act rules and regulations and avoid any situation which can put our clients customers data at risk. For this reason we designed Ci application to only use non personal identifiable information (PII) data points to build and deliver the product or content recommendations.

Order details i.e. order_id, order_value, item details (Please note, we don't capture any customer details associated to the order e.g. first name, last name, address etc)

Our app consume only non PII data, In no circumstances we either transfer or use any personal data like location, names, email addresses of our clients customers
Only retain any of our customer business data for short period of time, the timing may vary in terms of the frequency of the deletion process and details can be found further below
Our customers have full visibility of the data being used by our application at all times
We offer a dedicate support free of cost for any subject access request if required
All events and behavioural / tracking data is deleted once our customers un-install the application

How do we use your data to build better services for you
Support: To be able to offer you efficient and personalized support, we collect your contact- and identification information and an overview of previous conversations. This is so we are able to follow up on your questions and increase the speed at which we handle your inquiries.
Communication and offers: If you’ve used Ci application in the past, we may also be collecting contact- and identification information, information about previous installations and previous conversations with our support staff. This is so we can reach out to you about new offers, products you might be interested in and updates you may be interested in. You can easily opt out of this option by contacting our support team.
Data Retention
Customer: This data point is used to create personalized AI & ML recommendations e.g. last purchased, recently viewed etc. We only use id to link with transactional and behavioural history. No personal data like name, email address are being either stored or used by our application. All Customer related data is deleted from our system after 12 month
Orders: Only order id, total order value, order date, customer id etc is being captured by our app, no customer pii including name, address, payment details are collected from the website. The data is purged after 12 months.
Products: metadata is the central part of our application and it is being used in many different ways including
Preview functionality within the app for widget designs
Delivery of the product recommendations
Recommendation calculation i.e. inventory check, new arrival recommendation model etc
This data is not purged as it does not contain any PII information
Collections: are used either for targeting specific page sub categories to display the recommendations or calculation of recommendation model based on specific product categories. We do no delete collections as it does not contain an PII data
Tracking: The tracking information is being collected when users interact with our recommendation widgets, we use tracking to create performance reports, account usage threshold calculation and recommendations calculations e.g. featured product, most popular products etc. For more details about tracking library please [click here]. All tracking events are purged after 3 months
This data source is being used in multiple ways including account access & authentication, currency and language identification, pricing plan subscription, Account onboarding & off-boarding etc. The organization details are only purged after the application have been un-installed

Do we share you data?
Under no circumstances we share any data collected form your website with any third party public or private organizations

When you choose to share your data with us, we know you trust us to do the right thing. Doing the right thing not only means keeping your best interest in mind but also complying with applicable laws and requirements. And when it comes to how and when we use your data, there are many rules governing such practices. Exporting, Importing and deleting data
Ci app retains information about you as a customer in order to provide you with our services.
You do however retain the right to:
Request access to your data
You have the right to request a copy of your personal or tracking data. In order to do so, please review the support team.
Rectify any inaccurate or incomplete information about yourself
In case you perceive information referring to you to be wrong or incomplete, you have the right to request the information to be rectified or completed. If you want to make such changes, you simply contact us by contacting our support team, describing your request.
Terminate a product, service, or your whole relationship with Customer Intelligence app.
You are able to easily manage, or terminate, most of our product and services directly in the Ci app. By terminating a product or service you thereby terminate the connected terms and conditions. You can do so by just un-installing our application from our store. We don't bound our customers to subscribe to our services for any time period. Our customers can upgrade, downgrade or un-install the application anytime if they are not pleased with our services.
Request to have your personal data deleted
You have the right to request for any personal data – that Ci app is not obliged to keep – to be deleted. Please note that as a consequence, you won’t for example receive any marketing material from us nor be able to log in to our web portal or mobile app once this process has been completed. If you wish to request your shop data to be deleted, please contact the support team
Keeping your data safe
We heavily invest in our advanced security system which continuously monitors our systems to report any suspicious activity. When you use our application, it’s important you know that before we even begin building our products, we go at length to assess any potential risks that could exist and design the necessary counter measures to make sure you stay safe.
